MEMBERSHIP
Members look out for each other, their children and the property in general. We try to build a harmonious community. That is what makes the Bain Co-op so strong. A Member Relations Committee is in place to try to iron out any member conflicts.
How to become a member
Effective April 13, 2010 Our 1, 2, 3 & 4 bedroom lists are open until further notice. If you are interested in becoming a member of our Co-op, please complete and submit an application form with a cheque or money order of $20.00 administration fee to cover credit checks. Please also submit proof of income for each member applicant; this can be 3 months of paystubs or a letter from your employer or a Notice of Assessment. NOTE - if you are self employed please submit a current year bank statement AND Notice of Assessment. This information will be reviewed by our administrative staff and passed on to the Interview Team.
After your interview takes place, interviewers will recommend to the Membership Committee whether or not you will become a member. The committee considers the recommendation and reviews your application and then votes on recommending it to Residents’ Council for approval.
Once approved, you will be notified via letter from the Membership Committee and added to the two waiting lists you chose appropriate for your household size.
Incomplete applications will not be processed.

- Free use of computers- see schedules posted in CAP Room and BCN
- Laundromat on-site
- Photocopy services available
- Community Centre for rent (additional cost for sound equipment)
Pets
- No exotic pets allowed
- All pets are to be neutered/spayed
- Two pets per apartment
- Dogs always on leash when outside
- Dogs are not allowed in the courtyards and Laundromat
- (There is a off-leash area in Withrow Park 5 minutes away from Bain).
