Bain Apartments Co-operative Inc.

MEMBERSHIP

Members look out for each other, their children, and the property. Members have the responsibility to participate in the life and work of the community: attending General Meetings, standing for committees, helping neighbours, tending the areas adjacent to their units and the common areas.

How to become a member

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Bain Co-op, please complete and submit an application form. This information will be reviewed by the Membership Committee and staff, and passed on to the Interview Team. After your interview takes place, the Committee will make a decision about your membership application and forward their recommendation to Residents’ Council, which has final approval. Once approved, you will be notified via letter from the Membership Committee and added to the waiting list.

After your interview takes place, interviewers will recommend to the Membership Committee whether or not you will become a member. The committee considers the recommendation and reviews your application and then votes on recommending it to Residents’ Council for approval.

Once approved, you will be notified via letter from the Membership Committee and added to the two waiting lists you chose appropriate for your household size.

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Bain Co-op. A brochure is available that contains some detailed information about how our community came to be and how it works.

If you have any questions, please contact the office at 416.466.2186 x 104 or email membership@100bain.com
